JoBlo.com’s Top 10 Favorite Movies of 2016 (Video)

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Ah, the ol' yearly Top 10 lists. No doubt you've waded through many of them at this point and we certainly haven't made it easier as we've already shared the lists from our esteemed critics, Chris Bumbray, JimmyO, and Eric Walkuski. Taking those lists into consideration and sprinkling in some overall feelings about many of the films released this year, we've compiled a kind of greatest hits Top 10 Favorites of 2016 which represents the films that affected us the most, be it for the drama, the spectacle, the performances, the emotional impact, or just because they were the most memorable and likely to be rewatched again and again. Now, don't get all riled up if your favorites aren't here, as we by no means count this as the end-all-be-all list to trump all others; just another opinion on a stack of opinions to give you an idea of what we dug this year. And, believe me, narrowing it down to ten was no easy feat.

There are plenty of other films that could swap in here and we could easily stretch it out to twenty or more, but for the sake of consistency, this is where we stand. Hope you dig the list and let us know YOUR favorite flicks of 2016 in the comments!
