from Las Vegas! Today is the opening day of registration for ShoWest 2007. For
those of who aren’t familiar with ShoWest, it is the largest
annual convention for the motion picture industry. For 3 days, Hollywood
descends on Sin City to show the movie theater owners of the world what product they have
to look forward to in the coming months. Over the next few days I
will be bringing you up to date photos and descriptions of the new
trailers, one-sheets, screenings, and mega-stars that will certainly
set the tone for what looks to be a kick ass 2007 Box Office.

The
convention officially kicks off tomorrow morning with the keynote
address, a theater industry “State of the Union” type speech, by
none other than Jerry Bruckheimer. On the heels of the super success
that was 2006’s POTC: DEAD MANS CHEST, he will surely be eager to
show off footage from his 2007 follow-up. Until then, here are some
shots of the ShoWest entrance showcasing some of the new adverts we
