The last time I wrote about JOHN CARTER OF MARS it was to report that the film had dropped the OF MARS to become just JOHN CARTER.
Now with the release of this first poster, I don’t know what to think. The tagline says “John Carter arrives,” but there’s clearly a giant “M” there, implying it may still be in the title, which it clearly should be.
As for Taylor Kitsch? I don’t think there’s a role on earth (or apparently on Mars) that will ever make that kid cut his hair. I’m curious to see how he does in his first real starring role. Can he carry a film this big? I’m certainly rooting for him.
