Earlier this week Eric showed you all the awesome and strange trailer for Don Coscarelli’s latest piece JOHN DIES AT THE END.
Well to accompany that teaser, the first official one sheet has been revealed, and it is just as strange! So far I have loved everything we’ve seen with this film, and being the huge Coscarelli fan that I am, I can’t wait.
It’s a drug that promises an out-of-body experience with each hit. On the street they call it Soy Sauce, and users drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human. Suddenly a silent otherworldly invasion is underway, and mankind needs a hero. What it gets instead is John and David, a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can these two stop the oncoming horror in time to save humanity? No. No, they can’t.
Sounds like one heck of a time doesn’t it? Tempted to pick up the book this is based on, might help be a good tide over till this is released sometime next year.
The film stars Chase Williamson, Rob Mayes, Paul Giamatti, Clancy Brown, Glynn Turman, Doug Jones, and Angus Scrimm.
