John Krasinski & Emily Blunt team up for supernatural thriller A Quiet Place

Not everyone gets to work with their spouse, and I'm sure not everyone would want to, but Hollywood couple John Krasinski and Emily Blunt will be doing just that when they join forces for their latest project, a supernatural thriller by the name of A QUIET PLACE.

The pair will star in the film together, but John Krasinski will be pulling triple duty as he will also be writing and directing the project. This won't be Krasinski's first time behind the camera, as the actor has previously helmed BRIEF INTERVIEWS WITH HIDEOUS MEN and THE HOLLARS, but this will be his first project for a major studio. Not much is known about the Paramount Pictures & Platinum Dunes film at this point, other than it will be set on a farm and focus on a family who are being terrorized by evil.

A QUIET PLACE originated as a spec script by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods, which Paramount scooped up prior to the involvement of John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. Krasinski will be re-writing the script and production on A QUIET PLACE is expected to begin this fall. Both actors have several projects on the horizon, with Krasinski appearing in Kathryn Bigelow's UNTITLED DETROIT RIOTS PROJECT as well as taking the lead role in Amazon's Jack Ryan series. Emily Blunt is currently in the midst of filming MARY POPPINS RETURNS in which he will be taking over the reins of Mary Poppins from Julie Andrews.
