John Rhys-Davies headlines action/horror tale Aux

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

With nearly 250 acting credits to his name, John Rhys-Davies seems to be one of the busiest men in show biz. The man works, regardless of the budget level or how prestigious the project. He's in Indiana Jones and Tolkien movies, he's in Syfy Originals, and he's always awesome.

Rhys-Davies will next be stepping in front of the camera for AUX, an action/horror movie from Evolutionary Films that is being directed by the company's CEO John Adams, who also wrote the screenplay with Peter Adams. Rhys-Davies will also be serving as an executive producer on the film.

“Aux” begins when two young boys discover the entrance to a secret military bunker that has been undetected since World War II with both subsequently killed. A police investigation is initiated but the officers are killed in grotesque and mysterious ways while a WWII veteran in a nursing home — played by Rhys-Davies — sees these events unfolding on the news and believes he may know what is going on.

The concept of a couple of kids teaming with a WWII vet to take on some sort of deadly secret from the past – I'm speculating that there is some kind of monstrous creation involved – sounds like it could provide some MONSTER SQUAD-ish good times.

AUX commences filming on January 13th.
