Jordan Peele: Daniel Kaluuya and Jesse Plemons offered roles in new film

Comedic actor turned genre filmmaker Jordan Peele may be reteaming with Daniel Kaluuya, the star of his Oscar-winning first film Get Out (watch it HERE), as The Illuminerdi reports that Kaluuya and Jesse Plemons (most recently seen in I'm Thinking of Ending Things, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, and The Irishman) have both been offered lead roles in Peele's latest movie.

Exactly what this movie is, that's being kept under wraps. But The Illuminerdi was able to get their hands on character breakdowns for the film.

One lead character is named Artie. He is a

Latinx or Native American man in his 20s to early 30s. Artie is a L.A. native and works in the electronics department of a major retail store. Artie is described as genuine, insightful and “clutch”.

There's also a character named Winston Claes. He is a

supporting character, 55-70, open ethnicity. Winston is a Fine Art Photographer whose career-long obsession for perfection has led him to the edge of a dull and unsatisfying end to his career. He radiates succinct weather-beaten insight of a lovably gruff unwilling mentor. Winston is emotionally balanced, but his Achillie’s heel is his thinly veiled ego.

Peele is also looking to fill the role of a "Male Villain" described as being in his "20s or 50s".

We'll keep you updated on Peele's next film as it continues to move forward. After Get Out and Us (watch it HERE), I'm eager to see what he'll do next. Whatever it is, it's scheduled to reach theatres on July 22, 2022.

Kaluuya's previous credits also include Black Panther and Widows. He and Plemons have both been in episodes of Black Mirror, and they're both in the upcoming film Judas and the Black Messiah.
