Journey through Pandora with new teasers for The World of Avatar

The time is growing nearer for the opening of Pandora: The World of Avatar in Disney's Animal Kingdom, where fans and obsessive Na’vi aficionados can come and explore Pandora as if you’re actually on the alien planet. Of course this is not near as amazing as actual interstellar travel would be, but the attraction’s technicians are trying to come as close as possible to make the world James Cameron created come alive. Disney recently put out two short teasers advertising the attraction, the first advertising the Na’vi River Journey and the second the Flight of Passage. Each video is 15 seconds long, which will prove to either infuse you with giddiness or be the most frustrating 30 seconds of your life.

Roll the dice below!

The company is keeping as much as it can under wraps until the park opens on May 27, but so far everything is looking like a spitting image of the home of the giant, blue cat people. The River Journey video proves the most revealing, with the Flight looking just like clips from the movie, but apparently that one is being kept much more super-secret (a.k.a. it’s not ready yet). I don’t live anywhere near Disney’s Animal Kingdom, so I have no clue when, if ever, I’ll get to go. Maybe the Make a Wish Foundation will take pity on me.

PANDORA: THE WORLD OF AVATAR opens May 27.
