Joy Ride 2 on MySpace

“Candy Cane.” Never has such a sweet pair of words ever struck so much fear in my heart. I’m referring, of course, to the words uttered by that psychotically mono-toned killer trucker, Rusty Nail, from JOY RIDE. And by now I’m sure you all know (because we told you about it here) that a sequel is currently on the STD road towards us called JOY RIDE 2: DEAD AHEAD.

And NOW you have the chance to add ol’ Rusty as one of your MySpace friends! That’s right, the official JOY RIDE 2 MySpace page is up and running! Not a whole lot is up yet in terms of features (just a plot synopsis and some desktop images), but I’m guessing much more will soon be heading down the turnpike.

I am huge fan of the original, smartly written (by JJ Abrams) JOY RIDE and can only hope that DEAD AHEAD does it justice. It’s set to hit DVD shelves sometime this October. As for now, you can squeeze out a little joy over at the MySpace page HERE. Just don’t leave any comments asking to meet up at a motel for some pink champagne.
