You may not immediately recognize bushy-eyed, sideburn rocking Judah Friedlander. Unless you watch NBC’s criminally underrated “30 Rock”. Then you’ll immediately recognize him as “the weird looking guy”. Or if you’ve seen AMERICAN SPLENDOR, you’ll recognize him as “the really weird looking guy” aka Harvey Pekar best friend Toby Radloff. Either way, he’s been bringing the funny for a long time and he’ll now be taking the funny to the Eddie Murphy future trainwreck STARSHIP DAVE. The story centers on a group of minute humanoids who infiltrate Earth by manufacturing a vessel that approximates the look of a human male exactly. Malfunctioning human male robot vessel hilarity ensues. Friedlander plays the engineer of the crew. When he’s not deadpanning hilarity on “30 Rock”, Friedlander can next be seen in the Mark Chapman biopic CHAPTER 27 and the horror sequel CABIN FEVER 2: SPRING FEVER. (Secondary title not invented.)
