After taking a break from movies like AMERICA’S SWEETHEARTS, NOTTING HILL and MY BEST FRIEND’S WEDDING, Julia Roberts is back into the fold with more Movies That Drive Guys Crazy. Her first movie in the installment – EAT, PRAY, LOVE – was announced last month and now we have another test of fortitude. The actress has signed on to produce and possibly star in HAPPINESS SOLD SEPARATELY based on the novel by Lolly Winston. The film, and get ready for the grossest logline ever, follows a “story of when people meet the wrong person at the wrong time and have to make it right.” I’m not even sure what that means but it sounds like something my wife would say to me. Fox Searchlight is currently in negotiations to pick up the rights to distribute the film with Scott Coffey (ELLIE PARKER) in line to write and direct. Roberts is currently filming CHARLIE WILSON’S WAR with Tom Hanks and can be seen (rather, heard) in CHARLOTTE’S WEB this Friday.
