There must be such a thing as mental terrorism because there’s no way someone came up with JULIE AND JULIA without peering into my sub-conscious and committing to film the most boring thing I could think of.

The flick follows a government employee (Amy Adams) who decides to cook her way through legendary cook Julia Child’s classic cookbook, “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” in one year’s time out of her small Queens kitchen. Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci also star. Vanessa Ferlito too, but I doubt even if she forgot which film she was in and started lap-dancing Kurt Russell I would take an interest.
