Justice League investigator disputes claims of Walter Hamada interference

The Justice League investigation drama is still lingering within the industry despite having wrapped some time ago. Ray Fisher, who played Cyborg in the film, is still claiming that DC Films president Walter Hamada attempted to interfere with the investigation but Hamada is getting a bit of support from the team that investigated these matters.

The drama continued over the weekend as Ray Fisher took to Twitter to once again accuse Hamada of interfering with the outside investigation into claims of wrongdoing on the set of the 2017 film. You can check out Fisher's latest tweet below:

A few hours after Fisher posted his tweet, investigator and former federal judge Katherine B. Forrest released her own statement on the matter and they simply contradict Fisher's claims that Hamada interfered with the investigation at all:

"I am disappointed by continued public statements made suggesting that Walter Hamada in any way interfered with the Justice League investigation. He did not. I interviewed him extensively on more than one occasion and specifically interviewed him concerning his very limited interaction with Mr. Fisher. I found Mr. Hamada credible and forthcoming. I concluded that he did nothing that impeded or interfered with the investigation. To the contrary, the information that he provided was useful and advanced the investigation."

Once the investigator released her statement Warner Bros. came out in defense of Hamada by saying "Once again there are false statements being made about our executives and our company surrounding the recent Justice League investigation." If you recall, in later 2020, WarnerMedia accused Fisher of not cooperating with the investigation but it was a claim that Fisher denied.  You can check out the rest of Warner Bros.' statement below:

"As we have stated before, an extensive and thorough third-party investigation was conducted. Our executives, including Walter Hamada, fully cooperated, no evidence was found of any interference whatsoever, and Warner Bros. did not lie in the press. It's time to stop saying otherwise and move forward productively."

Despite the statements of the investigator, Fisher did not back down from the stance he has maintained since all of this started. Fisher believes Hamada did interfere and it appears nothing will convince Fisher that anything else took place:

"As I've said from the start: Walter Hamada ATTEMPTED to interfere with the JL investigation. He was unsuccessful in doing so because I did not allow him to.. Having the investigator make a statement claiming there was no interference is purposely misleading and desperate."

As of this writing, Forrest nor Warner Bros. have responded to Fisher's latest statement regarding Hamada or the investigation. Just when it seemed like all of this was over, it appears the war is just beginning. Both sides seem adamant about how things went down so it's hard to determine who to believe but seeing how Fisher has been since this controversy started, I have serious doubts that this will be the end of his campaign to expose their wrongdoings.
