Katy Perry may be coming at your eyeballs in 3D soon. My big question, though: Will she look like she does above for 90 straight minutes? Because that I would support.
THR is reporting that the curvacious pop singer has begun speaking with Paramount and Imagine Entertainment about creating a documentary-style 3D concert film, similar in vein to JUSTIN BIEBER: NEVER SAY NEVER. No director is officially on board yet as the deal-making is still in the early stages, but both sides are eager to make the project come together.
Concert films have been enjoying a resurgence over the past several years, most notable of which have been Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT and the aforementioned NEVER SAY NEVER. Perry, whose music videos tend to involve lots of trippy visuals, seems like a perfect fit for this type of thing.
