Adorable brunette hottie Keri Russell has joined Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford in the upcoming Tom Vaughan directed drama based on the life of entrepreneur John Crowley. When Crowley’s children were diagnosed with a fatal Glycogen Storage Disease called Pompe Disease, he took it upon himself to head up a start up biotechnology company and pioneered Enzyme Replacement Therapy that eventually saved his children’s lives. His story was chronicled in a Wall Street Journal article by Geeta Anand who later expanded it into a book titled “The Cure: How a Father Raised $100 Million – And Bucked the Medical Establishment – In a Quest to Save His Children”. Russell will be playing Crowley’s wife Aileen with Fraser playing Crowley and Ford playing a scientist leading the research. Production is expected to begin on April 6th. Russell can next be seen in Tim Blake Nelson’s directorial effort LEAVES OF GRASS.
