Kevin Smith in new Call of Duty game

So Kevin Smith has directed movies where nerds talk about STAR WARS, produced a TV show where nerds talk about comics, and wrote comics himself, meaning Kevin Smith has done a lot of nerdy pop-culture shit. Hell, he has an entire podcast where all he talks about is Batman. But he's finally reaching the nerd apex with finally appearing in a videogame. In fact, he'll be a playable character in the CALL OF DUTY zombie DLC RAVE IN THE REDWOODS. Let's take a look:

Honestly, besides Kevin Smith, the DLC looks kind of whack. I do like the '90s aesthetic of the rave (reminds me of Doug Liman's underrated GO), and the humorous take on everything; however, the characters (minus Smith) just sound obnoxious, with annoying one-liners that I hope there's an option to mute. Though, then again, I'm not much of a gamer (and especially not FPS games since I have the motor functions of a parapalegic baby), so take my opinion with a grain of salt. If this looks good to you, more power to ya!

Either way, the CALL OF DUTY DLC pack RAVE IN THE REDWOODS will be ready for download January 31st, 2017.
