Well on this slow news day I’m bringing you all a bit more news on Matthew Vaughn’s KICK-ASS. Today we’ve got a few pics from TheBadAndUgly, giving us our first look at the film!
Well the first look is mainly of Mr. Nicolas Cage. You can get a hint of one above, just click through to check out the rest. The last update I gave you was that KICK-ASS is looking at a 70 million dollar budget, and apparently Cage is feeling more excited about this role than he has for a role in a long time.

Here’s a rundown of the synopsis: Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan who one day decides to become a super-hero, even though he has no powers, training or meaningful reason to do so. KICK-ASS’ biggest selling point? It’s looking to be brutally violent. A little girl chopping heads off with a sword… I don’t know about you, but I see that as flawless.
The flick was penned by Vaughn and Jane Goldman with Vaughn directing. It stars Aaron Johnson, Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Lyndsy Fonseca (below), Clark Duke, Chloe Moretz, and Omari Hardwick. It’s currently shooting, so we’ll let you know once we hear any more updates.
