As part of Nicole Kidman’s production company Blossom Films’ first-look deal with Fox, she’ll be producing and starring in the drama RABBIT HOLE, a feature adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Broadway play of the same name, for Fox Searchlight. In it, she’ll star as a woman whose marriage is on the brink of imploding due to an unexpected tragedy. Through a series of emotionally cathartic arguments and monologues and likely one or two violent, feral romps in the sack, her marriage regains stability, ready once again to face yet another potentially marriage-destroying tragedy. Kidman recently wrapped work on the forthcoming first installment in Phillip Pullman’s HIS DARK MATERIALS fantasy trilogy THE GOLDEN COMPASS and can next be seen in the sci fi quasi-remake THE INVASION and Baz Luhrmann’s epic drama AUSTRALIA.
