Kiefer looks in Mirrors

Kiefer Sutherland is set to go from a brutal and intense counter-terrorism agent to a mall security guard. The actor has signed on to star in the upcoming thriller MIRRORS for director Alexandre Aja (HIGH TENSION). Sutherland will star as a rent-a-cop who’s investigating a series of disturbances the center around the mirrors in a store’s display. Sutherland was originally set to begin filming the “24” movie this spring but when that film was delayed because of script issues, he had an opening and sparked to working with Aja. MIRRORS, which was originally supposed to begin filming last fall, will begin shooting this May in Romania. (Romania? There are no mini-malls in LA?) As for the 24 movie, we’ll have to wait until 2008 until filming gets started on the big-screen adventures of the Jack Bauer Power Hour. All I can say about that….DAMNIT!.
