Sometimes I seriously wonder what the hell is
going on in Japan that creates such bizarre pieces of work. (ie. The Mario
Brothers, Ju-On, Akira, etc) And the following film just helps to push that
envelope even further.
Seen below is the trailer for a new Japanese
horror flick known as EKUSUTE or more simply EXTE: HAIR EXTENSIONS.
The film is about, well, killer hair extensions.
I wasn’t too impressed with the synopsis I had
read for this flick, but once I saw the trailer I was right on board! The
trailer looks incredibly scary and funny all at the same time! It’s not in English and has no subtitles,
but the visuals are awesome. (Especially the hair growing out of peoples eyes!)
There doesn’t seem to be any word on a North American release but the film does
premiere in Japan February 17th. (Probably meaning we will get it here on DVD
near October and someone will want to remake it by next January)

with yet another Japanese horror masterpiece.
