The story of a young man who is separated from the love of his life. To find her he has an Out of Body Experience but the silver cord that connects his soul with his body breaks and he is believed to be dead. In a desperate race against time his friends have less than 24 hours to save his soul before his body is cremated.
It could also be described as FLATLINERS II: THE NEXT DIMENSION or something to that effect. Nothing like intentionally dying, then being trapped in-between worlds racing to return before your body is burned to nothing but ashes. That would suck. Then again, it may suck even more if you were to return to your body… after it had already been buried six feet below ground. Now THAT would suck…
Written by Ken Gord and Ordonez, the film is actually based on an event involving Ordonez’s brother, who came back to life after being declared dead, and who later died in 2004. That’s pretty sad, but the premise of the movie sounds like it could kick the living crap out of us and then some. No details of the who will be playing what characters or when filming is set to begin.. we’ll let you know as soon as we find out!
