Kit Harington knows something about where Jon Snow is going in GoT finale

Now that much of the exhilaration, and in some cases, disappointment, has passed with regard to HBO's series finale for GAME OF THRONES, details about Jon Snow's fate have emerged.

Recently while engaging in a pre-Emmys chat with Entertainment Weekly, Kit Harrington revealed where his character, Jon Snow, was headed after being ordered to return to the Night's Watch. During all the series finale hubbub, many fans had theorized that Snow was embarking on a ranging mission, while others believed the "knows nothing" warrior to be escorting the Free Folk to safer territories. Another group of fans postulated that Snow was returning to life among the Wildlings, and now, Harrington has come forward to put the matter to rest once and for all.

“[S]eeing him go beyond the Wall back to something true, something honest, something pure with these people he was always told he belongs with — the Free Folk — it felt to me like he was finally free,” said Harrington. “Instead of being chained and sent to the Wall, it felt like he was set free. It was a really sweet ending. As much as he had done a horrible thing [in killing Daenerys], as much as he had felt that pain, the actual ending for him was finally being released.”

You can say what you want, Harrington, but we all know that Daenerys had to go, I'm just surprised that her dragon didn't bar-b-que your ass for doing the deed. In the end, I think Jon returning to life among the Wildlings makes a lot of sense, and feels like a fitting end for someone who helped bring an end to the war for the Iron Throne. The Seven Kingdoms are likely to rebuild without his help, so why not go and live in peace with those who know the value of your mettle? So long, Jon Snow, may you sleep well and dream of large women.
