After her unforgettable and meme-worthy turn as Agnes in Marvel's WandaVision, Kathryn Hahn is joining the cast of Rian Johnson's Knives Out 2. As the latest A-list name to be added to the murder mystery sequel, Hahn joins previously announced cast members Janelle Monáe, Edward Norton, and Dave Bautista, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as super sleuth Benoit Blanc.

Character and plot details for Knives Out 2 are being kept under wraps at this time. Production is set to begin this summer in Greece.

Netflix recently paid $400 million for the next two installments of Johnson's Knives Out film series. Seeing as that's a fair bit of coin, it's easy to see why Johnson is stacking the cast of his new film like a boss. Part of me has to wonder if we'll be adding another heavy-hitter to the cast tomorrow as a way of ending the week with a bang. Who could it be? Samuel L. Jackson? Helen Mirren? Christopher Walken? John David Washington? Place your bets now, folks.

Released in 2019, Knives Out featured Craig's Benoit Blanc investigating the death of a patriarch of an eccentric, combative family. Making up the cast of Johnson's critically-acclaimed whodunit are Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, LaKetih Stanfield, Christopher Plummer, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martell, Riki Lindhome, Edi Patterson, Frank Oz, and K Callan.

Rian Johnson will direct and write Knives Out 2 in addition to producing with his partner Ram Bergman.

Many consider Hahn to be a legend in the making. Aside from starring in Marvel's weird and wonderful WandaVision series, she's also been featured in such shows as Parks and RecreationBrooklyn Nine-Nine, TransparentI Know This Much is TrueMrs. FletcherCentral Park, and much more. Known for her devilishly clever comedic chops and ability to adapt to any role, Hahn will likely put Craig's Benoit Blanc through his paces in the new film.
