Spicy European Victoria Secret model Karolina Kurkova may be looking to make that ever so crucial transition from spank bank fantasy supermodel to bonafide actress. According to those Latino hunkies at the IESB, she’s landed a role opposite Dennis Quaid (Hawk), Arnold Vosloo (Zartan), Channing Tatum (Duke), fellow hotties Sienna Miller (The Baroness) and Rachel Nichols (Scarlett), Ray Park (Snake Eyes), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Heavy Duty), Marlon Wayans (Ripcord), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Rex) and Byung-hun Lee (Storm Shadow) in the live action G.I. JOE feature as Courtney A. Kreiger aka Cover Girl. Not straying too far from familiar territory, Kreiger is, as her call sign implies, a former supermodel who joined the army when she realized her taste for guns and blood superseded her desire to strut around half naked in front of a camera. Which isn’t to say we won’t be saying Kurkova half-naked. Just look at her, for the love of Pete. If the filmmakers don’t get her as naked as possible, they’ve done a disservice to us all. The Stephen Sommers directed actioner is set for release August 7th, 2009.
