Kylo Ren looks quite different in The Last Jedi concept art

Earlier today, Games Radar unleashed a piece of concept art that shows Adam Driver's Kylo Ren without his mop of curly, black hair. The image comes courtesty of The Art of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, a collection of materials created during the sci-fi epic's early-stages as presented by Lucasfilm LTD.

Illustrated by artist Tonci Zonjic, the image shows Kylo Ren sporting his heavy, black cloak atop an intricately stitched suit. What you'll notice about the art is that it features a scar on the side of his head, which would not match up with the injuries Ren had sustained during the third act of STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. This isn't the only difference, though. There's also the fact that, in the art, Kylo is sporting a buzz cutt as opposed to his swooping black locks.

The new look gives Ren a rather menacing demenour, don't you think? Personally, I prefer his now-iconic black hair. I like the way it blows in the wind created by every "force-push" featured in The Last Jedi, of which there are several. Why not take a look for yourself and let us know what you think in the comments section below?

Rian Johnson's STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI stars Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke, Domhnall Gleeson as General Hux, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Benicio Del Toro as ‘DJ’, Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico, Laura Dern as Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, and the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa. The film is now playing in theaters across the galaxy.
