Those crazy mofos over at IGN scored a first look at the latest poster coming out of SAW IV this morning, and the first word that spring to my mind is: meh. It’s ok.
I dug the weighing of Jigsaw’s severed head, because it felt more like a SAW poster… but this one… well, not so much. Then again, it’s utilizing the black background style that the first movie’s marketing used (where as the last two sequels have been using all white), so maybe it’s a good omen of things to come… or maybe not.
I’m also not really a fan of the It’s A Trap tag line, mostly because I don’t really get it. What’s a trap? The movie? The contraption this stilleto-heeled pig thing is in? I thought all the tests throughout the SAW universe were traps… again, maybe I just don’t get what the hell is going on here.
