Leelee’s Act of Violence

I don’t know what it is, but Leelee Sobieski is one hot chica- and the fact that she likes to star in the horror every once in a while is pretty awesome too. I dug her in JOY RIDE, though what she was doing in THE WICKER MAN remake is still unclear to me. Regardless, she’s back at it again with her new movie ACTS OF VIOLENCE, co-starring Ron Perlman and Il Lim (who’s also writing and directing the flick).

VIOLENCE is being billed as a ‘horror comedy’, and after checking out the brief synopsis, you’ll see why: it’s about a doctor seeking to avenge an attack on his wife. Doesn’t that just scream horror and comedy??? Ok, so I’m just joshin’ ya, but come on… though if it ends up anything like the dark VERY BAD THINGS, it won’t be so bad.

With Leelee not only acting, but producing this project, and Ron f*cking Perlman co-starring, what’s not to love? Il Kim (not to be confused with Lil’ Kim) is making his directorial debut here, and as he wrote the script, his vision will likely hit the big screen.
