Hey all, hope everyone’s recovered
from overdoes’ of bite sized Snickers and candy apples filled with razor blades.
(Speaking of which, I’ve never even seen a candy apple in my lifetime. Do they
even exist, or are they simply a myth like Bigfoot and the female orgasm?)
Anyways, I’ve come to you today with
a bunch of pictures from the upcoming Will Smith movie I AM LEGEND, which is an
adaptation of Richard Matheson’s short story I AM LEGEND. For those of you
unaware of this stories plot, it revolves around Robert Neville (Smith) who is
the sole human survivor after a strange disease turns everyone into Vampires.
Neville than barricades himself in his house where he must survive and listen to
the vampires gather outside his home every night, and taught him led by his ex-
best friend.

pictures are mostly of advertisements that will be within the movie, but are
still pretty cool to see.
I AM LEGEND is one of my favorite
stories of all time, and I’ve seen both movie adaptations of it already. It was
brought to screen in 1964 as THE LAST MAN ON EARTH starring Vincent Price. It
was also brutalized in 1971 as THE OMEGA MAN with Mr. NRA himself,
Charlton Heston. The Price version was awesome, fairly close to the original
story, while the Heston story felt like a monkey was going to town on my nuts
with a hammer. Hopefully the Smith version won’t let me down like Chuck did.
