Legion of Orphanage

Variety is reporting this morning that Bold Films is teaming up with F/X company Orphanage on a new horror flick called LEGION, and boy does is sound like a wild ride! Since Orphanage was behind the visual effects of SUPERMAN RETURNS and SIN CITY (among many others), you know LEGION is going to be in good hands!

Directed by first time direct Scott Stewart, LEGION follows a group of strangers stranded in a desert truckstop who must band together to stop an army of demonic creatures out to fulfill an ancient prophecy that opens the gates of hell.

You get all that? Sounds like it could be one wild – and effects heavy – ride. Least to say, count my ass on board. For some reason, it reminds me of Stephen King’s THE TALISMAN, but only because of the whole ‘crazy out-of-this-world shite happening while being on the road’ aspect that LEGION here is touching on.

Filming is set to begin later this Fall, though no one has been cast as of yet. Stick around for more on LEGION as we hear it!
