LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special trailer brings the whole galaxy together

Believe it or not, this year's holiday season is just around the corner, and so soon it will be time to break out the egg nog, your stealthiest mistletoe, and of course, your favorite holiday films and specials. Personally, I'll be queuing up my copies of Die Hard, Muppet's Christmas Carol, and Pee-Wee's Playhouse: Christmas Special, but for you LEGO and Star Wars fans out there, this is the year that Disney's LEGO STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL arrives to get you feeling jolly and bright. But why wait until December to get excited? Why not check out the new trailer for the LEGO brand's holiday hijinks right now? After all, I think we could all use a bit of cheer this week, wouldn't you say?

The new special will find Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose, and the droids preparing to celebrate Life Day, but Rey finds herself hurled into a cross-timeline adventure at a mysterious Jedi Temple that puts her into contact with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and other figures from the franchise.

While the above description says "other figures," I'm fairly certain they mean tons of figures. Did you watch the trailer? It feels as if everyone in the known Star Wars galaxy makes an appearance in LEGO's upcoming special. Aside from the main players, we've got character's like Lando Calrissian, Max Rebo, Kylo Ren, Greedo, Wicket W. Warwick, Maz, and The Child from Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian coming to the party!

When it comes to Star Wars alumni who are ready to reprise their characters for LEGO's big holiday event, Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), and Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) are all set to appear, with Star Wars: The Clone Wars voice actors Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), Tom Kane (Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Dee Bradley Baker (various clone troopers) joining the build-a-brick action as well.

The LEGO STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL blasts onto Disney+ on November 17th.
