Pete Travis’ 3-dimensional DREDD is currently filming in South Africa, but that doesn’t mean it can’t expand its stable of players. Proving such is the gorgeous Lena Headey (pictured), who has recently been added to the cast which already includes Karl Urban and Olivia Thirlby. Headey will play Madeline “Ma-Ma” Madrigal, a ruthless gang leader and one of DREDD’s arch-nemeses.
As scripted by Alex Garland and John Wagner, Ma-Ma is described as being 50 or 60 years old, with a gnarly scar through her cheek and lip. My guess is they’ll tweak the age and keep Lena as hot as she is instead of making her look old. That’d be a travesty!
