Lex & Tim want to return in Jurassic World 3

Director Colin Trevorrow's JURASSIC WORLD 3 will be reaching the mainland in June 2021. It was just the other day that we passed along the awesome news that Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern will be returning to the franchise alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.

But what about Lex and Tim?

Well, it seems that while "there are no current conversations" about them joining the film, both Joseph Mazzello and Ariana Richards are absolutely open to the opportunity to return! Sweet. I don't know about you but I've missed the little guys since they last showed up for a quick as sh*t cameo in THE LOST WORLD way back in 1997. Mazzello was recently in THE SOCIAL NETWORK and BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY so at least HE'S still acting. Not sure about Lex…

Lex and Tim, of course, starred in Steven Spielberg's massive blockbuster, which followed:

Paleontologists Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and mathematician Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) are among a select group chosen to tour an island theme park populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA. While the park's mastermind, billionaire John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), assures everyone that the facility is safe, they find out otherwise when various ferocious predators break free and go on the hunt.
