Why? Because she touches on all the questions Punisher fans have been dying ask but haven’t had the balls (or the opportunity) to. Is it closely related to Thomas Jane’s THE PUNISHER? Is it based more on the Marvel character, or on the MAX series? Will it be rated R? Does co-star Julie Benz show off her fun bags? All those answers are revealed in THE INTERVIEW (except for that last one, of course).
This maybe one of my favorite snippets, though the entire chat is pretty well done. It will definitely be a hard R. Luckily, Lionsgate has been great about it. They haven’t given me any guidelines in terms of violence. I really like violent movies. F*ckin’ A! If you’ve seen Alexander’s first film, GREEN STREET HOOLIGANS, then you know she ain’t lyin’ when she says she likes violence!
