Liam Neeson is back doing old guy action in new trailer for The Commuter!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I love how Liam Neeson was for a long time the go-to guy for “The Mentor”, what with training Darth Vader, Batman, and the children of Narnia. However, after TAKEN, he became a bona-fide action hero in the mold of other old-guy action-guy Charles Bronson. And while many of Neeson’s movies weren’t the best (like the unfortunate TAKEN sequels), there were some gems, like the amazing A-TEAM film (which is also another mentor role, now that I think about it).

Anyway, Neeson has a new action film coming out called THE COMMUTER from director Jaume Collet-Serra, who helmed Neeson in previous action-thrillers UNKNOWN and NON-STOP. Here’s the official synopsis:

In the midst of his daily commute, insurance salesman Michael Woolrich is contacted by a mysterious stranger who forces him to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on the train before the last stop.

So what do you Schmoes think? You down to take the ride with THE COMMUTER? Either way, sound off below!

Meanwhile, THE COMMUTER will ride into theaters January 12th, 2018.
