Liam Neeson confirms his return as Zeus in Clash follow up Wrath of the Titans!

Even Zeus isn’t immune to an ungodly paycheck!

Honestly, I’m not sure how the hell Liam Neeson kept on working after the tragic death of his wife (Natasha Richardson)…without so much as taking even a small professional break. Maybe that’s presumptuous, and maybe the only way to move on from something so horrific is to fully immerse yourself into your work. Either way, there’s no escaping the horrific result that was CLASH OF THE TITANS, a sequel for which Neeson confirmed he’ll be a part of. Scope it…

In a chat with The Belfast Telegraph, Neeson not only confirmed his reprisal as the God of all Gods…he also confirmed the film will indeed be called WRATH OF THE TITANS. A snappy title I suppose, and certainly close enough to the original (again, not sure that’s a good thing) to redraw some interest. But c’mon…if Warner Bros. doesn’t shore up that damn 3D, you can call it “Sam Worthington spouting horrible accent” and it wouldn’t make a bit of difference.

Here’s what Liam told the paper:

“I’ve only read half of the script and there is still some work being done – they’re on script 10 – but I think it’s going to be some kick-a** stuff and a very human story to it.” “We will start next March. I’m very much looking forward to it. It’s a whole revamping, you know.”

And about the inclusion of 3D this time around, Neeson quipped: “I don’t know the answer to that.”

I hear ya Liam, the less said, the better!

Of course, BATTLE: LOS ANGELES director Jonathan Liebesman will helm WRATH, taking the reins from Louis Leterrier. That right there should add a little hope, right?!?

Diane Kruger, Neeson’s co-star in his next film, UNKOWN!
