Distributor Uncork'd Entertainment recently acquired director Tommy Stovall's ROOM FOR RENT, a suspence thriller starring genre regular Lin Shaye, who is said to have delivered "a powerhouse performance".
The film is described by Uncork'd President Keith Leopard as a "unique and spine-tingling thrill ride". Shaye plays
a lonely widow who rents out a room in her house and becomes dangerously obsessed with one of her guests.
Along with the announcement that a distribution deal has been closed, a handful of images showing Shaye's character in the film have been released online and can be seen in this article.
Uncork'd is planning to release ROOM FOR RENT sometime in the second quarter of 2019.
I'm always glad to see Shaye turn up in any movie, horror or otherwise, so I'm interested in seeing her play an off-kilter character in this film.
