Sarah Adina Smith’s indie horror THE MIDNIGHT SWIM sort of snuck up on us, only learning last month that the highly praised thriller would be seeing a release later this month. Hitting VOD and Theaters on June 26th, Bloody Disgusting shared a handful of new stills for the film, which you can take a peek at below!
Transporting its audience to a place drenched in the supernatural, THE MIDNIGHT SWIM is an eerie, atmospheric exploration of the inexplicable pull towards the unknown.
When their mother goes missing in Spirit Lake, three half-sisters travel home to settle her affairs. The youngest sister, June (Lindsay Burge), a documentary filmmaker, captures their bittersweet homecoming. But when the sisters jokingly summon a local ghost, their relationship begins to unravel and they find themselves drawn deeper and deeper into the true mystery of the lake.
The film stars Lindsey Burdge, Jennifer Lafleur, Aleksa Palladino, Beth Grant and Ross Partridge. Look for it in theaters and on VOD June 26.
