Lionsgate’s Reawakening, starring Olivia Wilde, gets a title change, release date

Back in May of this year we shared the news that uber-hottie Olivia Wilde and Mark Duplass had signed on to star in the Jason Blum-produced horror/thriller REAWAKENING, from director David Gelb. We followed up that news in June with the casting additions of "American Horror Story" star Evan Peters and "Community" breakout Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino). Since then things have been quiet on the REAWAKENING front, but today we have word on not only when you will be able to check the film out in theaters, but also news on the films new title.

REAWAKENING has undergone a title change to LAZARUS and, according to Screen Daily, Lionsgate has set the upcoming Blumhouse Productions thriller for a January 30 2015 release in North America. Yeah, that's quite some time to wait, but we're hoping LAZARUS will be worth it.

The story centers on a brain mapping team of scientists that unleashes a devastating force when they reanimate a colleague who died accidentally.

Sarah Bolger ("Once Upon a Time") rounds out the key cast.

David Gelb directs from a screenplay by Luke Dawson and Jeremy Slater. Jason Blum produces.

I'd like to get WILDE with Olivia. Wouldn't you?
