2018 Lionsgate/Summit Movie Preview

Lionsgate and Summit entertainment managed to gross $885 million thanks to films like JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2, POWER RANGERS, and WONDER. This year, Lionsgate managed to outgross one of the major studios, Paramount. This year may offer some more success in the form of THE COMMUTER, the horror film WINCHESTER: THE HOUSE THAT GHOSTS BUILT and the revisionist version of ROBIN HOOD coming later in the year.

THE SPY WHO DUMPED ME (August 3rd)

UNCLE DREW (June 29th)

After draining his life savings to enter a team in the Rucker Classic street ball tournament in Harlem, Dax is dealt a series of unfortunate setbacks, including losing his team to his longtime rival. Desperate to win the tournament and the cash prize, Dax stumbles upon the man, the myth, the legend UNCLE DREW and convinces him to return to the court one more time. The two men embark on a road trip to round up Drew’s old basketball squad and prove that a group of septuagenarians can still win the big one. .

THE COMMUTER (Now Playing)

Michael McCauley is an insurance salesman who is on his daily commute home. A mysterious stranger contacts him and offers him $100,000 if he identifies a hidden passenger on his train before the last stop.
