From the man who brought us SAVIOR and HARD CASH, Pedrag Antonijevic is poised to swim in much darker waters with his new post-Katrina thriller LITTLE MURDER.
But to make things a little less murky, we now know that Cary Elwes (SAW) and Sharon Leal (MOTIVES 2) have joined the cast, an impressive one already including Josh Lucas, Terrance Howard, Lake Bell, Bokeem Woodbine and TRUE BLOOD’s very own Deborah Ann Woll.
LITTLE MURDER centers on a dishonored New Orleans detective (Lucas) that happens upon the ghost of a murdered woman who wants to help him finger the culprit. No, not like that – I mean, identify the culprit. Leal will play the ethereal cellist who continues to haunt Lucas, Elwes is set to play a seedy country clubber who may be implicit in the murder.
The project is written by long time TV scribes Justin and Gerald DiPego (TEMPTING FATE, INSTINCT), and is set up at Mind in Motion Entertainment & the S3 Entertainment Group. The flick is poised to open sometime in 2010.
