Long delayed found footage shocker The Poughkeepsie Tapes finally hits VOD

It feels like we've been waiting on a release for Drew and John Erick Dowdle's long-delayed THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES forever. The film has been laying dormant since 2007, but that didn't stop the Dowdle brothers from forging ahead with other projects, including QUARANTINE, DEVIL, and the upcoming AS ABOVE, SO BELOW. At long last THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES has seen the light of day, but only if you're a DirecTV customer.

Subscribers to DirecTV can now find the film on VOD. As for the rest of us not with DirecTV, we can only hope the film gets a wider release soon. There's no word yet as to when we might see it hitting other VOD platforms or DVD/Blu-ray, but we'll keep you posted as we hear it.

If you've seen THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES hit us up below with your thoughts on it. I've been curious to check this one out for years.
