I’m here to bring you a small update on some collectible figures I told you all about not too long ago. First up we’ve got a trio of characters heading our way straight out of the recently released RESIDENT EVIL 5 video game. Now this game is pretty f*cking badass. I think I’ve beaten it like three times already and I still can’t get enough. And these figures are just as awesome!
Unfortunately we don’t get a large list of collectible figures from the game yet, all we have is three for now. Those figures are Chris Redfield, Sheva Alomar, and the Executioner Majini. You can scope the three out above and just click through to buy these bad boys over at Amazon! They average $16 each. Here’s the descriptions given by NECA:
Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA) and game protagonist Chris Redfield features 25 points of articulation and comes with a shotgun, and a pistol and knife that fit into a functional holder and sheath!
Sheva Alomar, who aids Redfield in the zombie slaughterfest, has 20 points of articulation, a sniper rifle, and a pistol and knife that fit into a functional holder and sheath!
And because the series wouldn’t be complete without him, the massive Executioner boasts a HUGE guillotine-bladed axe and 13 points of articulation! Plus he’s scary as hell and covered in blood!
Now our two protagonists are definitely worth picking up and the Executioner Majini is easily one of the best baddies in the game. No surprise then that you face this big bastard in the first level. And the f*cker can jump once you get to the Mercenaries sidegame! In case you’re worried there may not be enough characters in the game to warrant some badass figures, the game actually has a bonus where you can purchase and build a collection of figures of characters from the game. Nifty. I’ll be keeping an eye out for any other RESIDENT EVIL 5 figures introduced to this series so keep it here for updates!
Next up we’ve got a badass a new figure headed our way from the DARK KNIGHT universe. Now I’ve told you about this one in the past but we only got a little tease, today we’ve got a full shot along with some details!
Of course I’m talking about the Police Honor Guard Joker! You can go ahead and get a nice shot of this bad boy above. That’s looking awesome! I’ll just go ahead and give you the rundown from Hot Toys:
Today, we are delighted to unveil more details of our MMSDX01 – The Joker. This 1/6 scaled villain masquerading as a Police Honor Guard, dressing in highly detailed police uniform features a metallic flag badge, embossed badges and holding a M1 Garand. Plus, a non make-up Joker head sculpt which captures his cold stare and horrific smile truly to his appearance in The Dark Knight movie! Once again, this amazing sculpture was worked by the perfect partners – Yulli & JC Hong. This figure has became the hottest topic on forums after our first teaser has been revealed last month.
