Truth be told, I haven’t really given MIDNIGHT MOVIE a second look since hearing about it. I don’t really have a reason why, just never caught my attention. And as I’m sure most of you know, we’ve been keeping you updated on everything MIDNIGHT MOVIE for a while now. We recently gave you some festival dates and a look at the new posters, hell Andre even got a chance to review this one and gave it a 3 out of 4.
So being a big fan of all slasher movies, it’s no surprise that after looking into MIDNIGHT MOVIE I can’t wait to check it out! I’m actually pretty stoked about this one. It’s looking like a decent slasher with some acceptable gore and a badass killer, even the plot isn’t half bad. Speaking of which, here’s the synopsis: A midnight showing of an early 1970’s horror movie turns to chaos when the Killer from the movie comes out of the film to attack those in the theater.
Now that’s got to be a bitch! Imagine watching some scary flick then leaving the theater to find the killer from the movie coming for you. Vicious. Well a while back we got a look at the first trailer for the flick. It wasn’t anything special and had a hardcore B movie vibe going for it. Well we’ve got the new trailer for the flick in our videos section and let’s just say they’ve cleaned up very nicely! The movie now looks crisp and there’s a much better editing job done with this one, so just click through below to check that out.

Jack Messitt’s award winning horror flick is really trying to get out there, so if you’re near one of the showings make sure to check it out. I know I can’t wait to see it!
