Loughery in Mourning

Screenwriter David Loughery seems to have the whole thriller thing down pact. The man’s previous credits include LAKEVIEW TERRACE and OBSESSED. Now these flicks aren’t really down our alley here at AITH but it seems Loughery is a name we need to start taking notice of. Variety reports today that the man is stepping into the supernatural genre!

Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, A Bigger Boat and GreeneStreet Films just snagged Loughery’s script MOURNING AFTER. MOURNING is set in contemporary San Francisco and centers on a man who falls in love with a beautiful woman with a timeless, deadly secret. Groovy. That’s bascially all the info we get aside from some technical mumbo jumbo. Here’s that… The three banners above will co-finance, develop and produce MOURNING AFTER with Sparkler Entertainment also serving in a producing capacity. Sparkler’s Andrew Bernstein will executive produce with Sparkler’s Charles Segars and Steve Ireland coming up with the original idea for the film.

Loughery is currently penning the screenplay so it may be a while before we hear anything else on MOURNING AFTER. But as always as soon as something breaks we’ll be here to tell you about it!
