Lowe Echoes on TV

One of the most underrated horror flicks to come out in 1999 has to be David Koepp’s STIR OF ECHOES, starring Kevin Bacon. That movie still scares the crap out of me, even to this day. So when I heard they were coming out with a STIR OF ECHOES 2, I was intrigued. Even if it was straight to video. Even if it did star Rob Lowe. Well, it looks like I won’t have to wait for DVD much longer, as STIR OF ECHOES 2: THE HOMECOMING is airing this Saturday night on the Sci-Fi Network, as an ‘original Sci-Fi movie’!

Don’t believe me? Check out the promo clip below and relish in Lowe looking all scared and shit. I wish it were the full trailer, but I’ll take it where I can, I suppose. This time around, Lowe here is a soldier who has visions of the dead after returning from Iraq. Not really sure why this got the sequel title, but likely because they thought it’d sell better (I hate when they do that).

The good news here then? We don’t have to wait until it’s November 20th DVD release date to check this puppy out! So set your TiVo and remember to catch STIR OF ECHOES 2, with brat-pack wash-up Rob Lowe on TV this Saturday night at 9pm.
