Luke Evans on what he ‘can’t tell us’ about The Crow (video)

Like it or lump it, Luke Evans is THE CROW. Around here at AITH, we love it! The guy is a natural badass who oozes charisma and we have no doubt he'll bring a unique and personal touch to the role of Eric Draven.

The folks over at Empire recently sat down with Evans at a FAST & FURIOUS 6 junket and asked him about the upcoming reboot, and here's what he had to say.

He certainly seems passionate about the role. And although filming on the reboot is still a bit off, hearing his enthusiasm for the part, the script and working with director F. Javier Gutierrez I can't help to be optimistic about the film.

Earlier this month we shared a statement from Evans about the role in which he said…

[The Crow] was a very poignant film from my childhood, which I remember vividly… The soundtrack, also. It was such a solid performance that Brandon Lee gave. It was a very tragic end for somebody that probably would have had a very promising career… I'm Eric Draven. I'm the same character. Obviously, he's been refreshed and brought up to date. We're reimagining it to a certain extent, but the story and the plot is mostly the same."

THE CROW will begin shooting next year.
