Madison Iseman will be working for the Warrens in Annabelle 3

The next installment in New Line Cinema's Conjuring Universe will be a third ANNABELLE movie – and while this one is going to be set in the home of the Warrens, the paranormal investigators played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga in THE CONJURING and THE CONJURING 2, it doesn't sound like Wilson and Farmiga are going to be involved with the demon doll shenanigans.

Written and directed by Gary Dauberman (the writer of ANNABELLE, ANNABELLE: CREATION, and THE NUN), ANNABELLE 3 is about

the Warrens bringing Annabelle back to their artifact room, where she targets their 10-year old daughter.

But the Warrens may be out of town when Annabelle starts causing trouble in their home. Last week, McKenna Grace was cast as the Warrens' young daughter Judy, and now Madison Iseman has joined her to play

the babysitter, who has to deal with terror as, in NIGHT OF THE MUSEUM fashion, the Artifacts Room comes alive thanks to Annabelle's instigation.

The announcement of Grace's casting said there will be a second babysitter in the mix as well. So instead of having Wilson and Farmiga deal with supernatural problems in their own home, it sounds like we're getting a movie about a little girl and two teenage babysitters getting menaced by various possessed items. It could be fun, I was just hoping to see more of Judy's parents.

Iseman is best known for her appearance in last year's JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE (pictured above). Her other credits include a segment of the anthology TALES OF HALLOWEEN, the family friendly haunted house movie GHOST SQUAD, and the upcoming GOOSEBUMPS 2: HAUNTED HALLOWEEN.

ANNABELLE 3 is scheduled to reach theatres on July 3, 2019.
