Another day means some more “Walking Dead” news. Hell by the time Season 2 of the popular zombie-drama rolls around people are going to be sick of hearing about it… or not. I mean this is “The Walking Dead” after all.
But alas today’s update isn’t even about Season 2 persay but actually some webisodes that are going to be made in conjunction with the new season. But that’s not the kicker… The selling point here is that FX and make-up legend Greg Nicotero will actually be directing the webisodes!
According to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting Nicotero will be directing a six-episode web series penned by John Esposito. The series is set to premiere this Fall and might also be playing at AMC’s annual Fearfest, though that’s yet to be confirmed.
The webisodes follow “Hannah” and her children who take shelter in her ex-husband’s house from a horde of zombies.
Plans are for this thing to start shooting next month so as soon as we hear any other updates on the project you can be sure we’ll pass them along your way.
