Maclunkey! A new edit to the Solo vs. Greedo shootout baffles viewers

Well, it looks like what's old is new again and this time what's new is the "Han shot first" debate, although now with more "Maclunkey!" What is "Maclunkey" you ask? Well, nobody knows, really, except the StarFather himself, George Lucas, who according to Vanity Fair, made the edit some seven years ago to STAR WARS: EPISODE IV – A NEW HOPE and just never told anyone. That's how I see this whole scene between Solo and Greedo now. It's just completely meaningless. It's kind of hilarious, though, and I imagine that deep-fake version of Lucas chuckling to himself as he edited in this nonsense just to f*ck with everyone, especially at the launch of Disney +. That's right. And, let's be honest, you're already thinking of buying one to be ironic and irreverent and Lucas is just doing that deep-fake chuckle. You gotta love that guy. Seriously.

You can watch all the Star Wars movies on Disney + in 4K now, which is actually pretty dope, but you also have to deal with this Maclunkey shit as well as some of the haven't-aged-well changes made to the O.G. trilogy. But, hey, it's Star Wars, man! Maclunkey, am I right?
