Fangoria announced today that Malevolence, the award winning slasher film about run and gun bank robbers who take a mother and daughter hostage in an abandoned house, only to find their next door neighbor is a murderous maniac, will open in New York this Halloween weekend. Gunnar Hansen, the original Leatherface, will also be there at the premier, giving his support for this tasty slasher film. It’s so awesome, in fact, that the films director, Stevan Mena, already has plans on making this into a trilogy of terror. Malevolence sounds like the classic gritty slasher films we all grew to love in the 80s, along the lines of The Last House on the Left, and will sure to be a hit with horror fans everywhere, or at least the few lucky ones privileged enough to see it.
